Le Théorème d’incomplétude [score]

Composed in 2008 and revised in 2015, Le Théorème d’incomplétude is written for a standard brass ensemble (4 trumpets, horn, 3 trombones and tuba).

The piece opens with a call from the four trumpets, with the horn and three trombones joining them to arrive at a solemn chorale that becomes increasingly dramatic until the lively part appears, taking previous elements and combining them with new ones. The work ends in an atmosphere of unrestrained celebration.
