Patsera, Vitaly

Vitaly Patsera was born in 1936. He graduated from Borys Lyatoshynsky’s composition class at the Kiev Conservatory and teaches music theory at the Kharkiv Music College.

In 1999, he was elected Chairman of the Board of the Kharkiv Branch of the National Composers’ Union of Ukraine. As a composer he paid tribute to several avant-garde trends during first two decades of his creative activity. In recent years he has been drawn towards contemporary romanticism and philosophic art.
