Tin

Tin (2018) was commissioned by the duo of Bart Van Beneden and Nele Tiebout.

This work is very virtuosic, both technically and rhythmically, and is in the form of an ABA’. A is based on the progressive construction of various melodic-rythmic cells that eventually form a dense contrapuntal tissue. Then comes the central part, B, more melodic, but which keeps the rhythmic tension of the beginning. And finally, A’ exploits the material exposed in A, but in a more concentrated way.
