A lyrical and emotionally resonant work for flute quartet, composed in memory of the composer’s father. The piece features rhythmic interplay, contrapuntal writing, imitation, and a richly textured sonic palette.
It received its world premiere on 28 January 2011 in Evere (Brussels, Belgium), performed by the Hinémoa Quartet.
