The Bruxellensis Quartet came about through the coming together of icians from various cultural musical horizons.

Eager to discover new things, these icians have decided to unite their talents through their common passion: the art of the string quartet. Since its birth in 1999, the quartet has more than 30 works to its repertoire including works that have been dedicated to it. The "New Consonant Music" constitutes the cornerstone of the aesthetic orientation of the quartet.
