Often participating in festivals, meetings of contemporary music and national and international congresses on musicology. Antonio Eduardo has been showing up as a pianist and a researcher connected to the musics of his time.
He is graduated in Piano and Master in Arts by UNESP, with the dissertation «The Antropofagism in the piano works of Gilberto Mendes» and PhD in Communications and Semiotics by the Catholic University of São Paulo with the thesis «The dis-courses of the Musica Nova Festival» all of them with scholarships by Fapesp.
As pianist, he develops an international career always emphasizing the Brazilian Contemporary Music, playing on concertos and giving lectures in Europeans countries such as Belgium, Finland, Denmark and France or in Latin American countries.
He coordinates the Antonio Eduardo Collection, by Alain Van Kerckhoven Éditeur (Belgium). This collection dedicated the Contemporary Brazilian Music, desmonstrates the diverses forms of musical expressions in Brazil through the music by Gilberto Mendes, Silvia Berg, Rodolfo Coelho de Souza, Almeida Prado, Sergio Vasconcelos.
