Antonio Simone was born in Capua, Italy, in 1969. He began his musical training with Grazia Mozzi Ciavarella at the age of nine then at 14 years old he passed under the guidance of Annamaria Pennella, studying in Naples until the age of 19 when he took his final piano degree with full marks.
In the following years he attended several advanced courses of interpretation and piano teaching at the "Scuola di Musica" in Fiesole and at the "Accademia pianistica" in Imola, also taking part with an Electronic and Computational Music course at the University of Caserta.
Essentially self-taught in composition he created and performed some of his first works while in his teens and still goes on composing in many forms and for various instruments.
In 1998 he found his interest in music therapy and after a three years course of studies and some master classes, he became a music therapist; he is actually a master trainer in music therapy courses promoted by Accademia di Scienze Umane "Jean Piaget" based in Caserta.
Nowadays he practices piano teaching, works together with some music schools, and performs as piano soloist or in chamber music groups.
