Bogdan Precz was born in Myslowice (Poland) in 1960.
He followed musical studies in Katowice and emigrated in Spain in 1987, the year in which he won the International Accordion Contest of Ancona (Italy) for his work Fantasia Polacca.
The composer wrote this piece a few days before the birth of his son. It is meant as a "cradle-song": the piano suggests the cradle, and the violin the mother's song.
This fascinating piece is based on the alternation between a lively motif (Tarantella) and a slower one (Rondo). Contains no technical difficulties.
