Vadim Orda was born in 1971 in Ordokva, near the city of Kharkov.
At the Kharkov Music College, from where he graduated as a bayan-player in 1991. He studied composition under Alexander Gugel. Since then, he was been studying compositionat the Kharkov Art Institute under the tutelage of Valentin Bibik.
