Dominique Lawalrée was born in Brussels in 1954.
His musical approach is this one of a poet or a philosoph. All his music
(more than 300 opus) is a search to inner space, to deepness and serenity.
The synthesizer is one of his favorite instruments to reach this intimity.
Many CD's and records of his works are available.
He often performs his own music in numerous concerts and also gives
conferences through whole Europe.
Two piano pieces - one cheerful (Rzewski's Spiel - Lachert), the other contemplative (Long Haired Lady - Lawalrée)- which, irrespective of their "exotic" form, have captured the public's enthusiasm. A memorable experience for the performer! As the music is printed on rigid loose-leaf pages, the three parts can be easily handled on the music stand.
