Alexander Gugel was born in Vilnius, in 1961. He studied composition
with Valentin Bibik at Kharkov Art Institute where he received his
diploma in 1984.
He currently lives in Kharkov. His works are performed in
numerous festivals through the world.
Two slow and meditative movements. They have an almost diatonic harmony in common, but they are highly contrasted in register, dynamics, structure and atmosphere. Pieces of great beauty.
This very sensible piece has a (easy) combinatory structure. Subtil changes weave the web of a pure and beautiful universe.
